Lance Poulsen, consultant and sales agent for Barker Shields Hospitality Group, has been with the company since it was founded. Wanting to be associated with a progressive company that uses innovative solutions to help clients, he made Barker Shields his home.

A graduate of Utah State University with a B.S. in finance and economics, Lance has focused his work on the lodging industry since 1999. He specializes in operations and management of lodging facilities of all types. Most recently, he helped a hotel property he managed in a remote location of New Mexico expand its group sales and revenues by effectively marketing through the Internet and other creative sources.

Lance is married, and in his spare time he loves water and snow skiing.
