Paul Barker is one of the co-founders of Barker Shields Hospitality Group. His career in the hospitality industry began in 1980 in the real estate management and ownership side of the business. His career progressed into real estate consulting and appraising in 1986, and into sales of hotel real estate in 1997. Since 1986, Mr. Barker has been involved in over 250 lodging appraisals and feasibility studies.

His strengths are in the people side of transactions, and he possesses an understanding of complex operational and sales issues that often have impact on value. His personal performance in hotel real estate valuation throughout the Intermountain West over the past sixteen years is virtually unparalleled.
